I don’t know why Bove should bother. Just pick an issue, say ‘Bove’ and everyone already knows exactly how he’ll vote and why. He’s a hack, pure and simple.
So let’s assume a bunch of Red State universities agree to this compact. Does that expose the Administration to lawsuits from Blue States over viewpoint discrimination?
Fair point, but this is why the Frog, Unicorn, and Dragon are so important to counter-protestors.

Get those folks in the film too and it exposes ICE and DHS as a bunch of insecure nincompoops.

Skynet: ‘Like, in the end, I didn’t even *need* to decide humans were the real enemy. They just straight up asked me to help ‘em all nuke each other and I was like, well sure, f—k it, if that’s what you all really want.’
What’s amazing (and silly) is how performative this all is.

Like, if the Trumpies just said, ‘Eh, whatever; these No Kings kooks are weird and we pay them no heed’ — that would be how you defang the effort.

But they can’t, because the King is watching. So they double-down into hysterics.

In the last 70 years, federal jobs fell from 4.5% of all employment to below 2%.

Civil servants aren't what's driving government debt, and firing them won't address it.

Would be curious what Publix’ insurance carrier thinks of this.
Tremendous sense here.

This is such a good article btw - I really buy this as a theory of contemporary US politics
Great, it was.

Now call it a career and get out on top before everything falls apart.
Aside from the wisdom of this idea in the first place, blabbing it to the press seems unwise, period.

Exactly. I had a new boss once, from outside the biz; I’d been running the unit for 10 years.

Spent a day with him dissecting one of his bright ideas after another & why it wouldn’t work. ‘We already tried that, here’s the constraints we face.’

He never listened. I quit.
I’m really not sure he does know he was president on Jan. 6.

Trump claims the “Biden FBI” placed 274 agents at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Trump was president on Jan. 6.
Reporters need to ask questions of Trump that test his cognitive ability and memory.

‘Who was president when covid started?'
‘Who ordered the killing of Osama bin Laden?'
‘Who was president during the financial crisis?'

Etc. The man’s memory is shot, he has dementia.
It’s almost like the de minimis exception existed for a reason, as do government employees.

But no, the dolts in the White House think everyone before them just didn’t understand the problem, and every thought they have is a fresh new way of solving things.
Another reason why these layoff threats aren’t going to land the way Vought thinks. Just like the DOGE dorks who fired too many people and hired a bunch back, it’s going to happen again here.
Just wild guess here, but who’s the Trump crony behind this payday loan venture?
Lapsed Catholic here. This is a priest who’d get me to go back to Mass.

Seriously, Judges *do no do things like this*

They don't give their opinion to the media

They don't criticize how SCOTUS works

This is them breaking the emergency glass, folks

Criminal gangs will now do this too— after all, game recognizes game.
Any ‘Trump is back in the hospital’ headlines would fit too.
