Yes. "Honey West" met the same fate.

I love that you young ladies found this show back then. It was completely off my young radar at the time.

Dumping on KC & The Sunshine band is just too easy. So I won't do it this time. (Except, wait... I guess that was a passive aggressive dump. Just can't help myself...!) #AT40

("Private Eye-Full." Love it!)

Wow!!! (Sounds "past tense" - too bad if you don't still have it. I'm sure it's quite the collector's item!)

Of the Roger Moore Bonds, this was his best. Wish I could say the same for Marvin Hamlisch's score for the movie. He came through for Carly Simon's theme song, but the rest is... well, he just didn't know what to do, and it just sounds cheesy. COME BACK, JOHN BARRY! #AT40

Honey West! Good for you!

To this day, it sounds like "secret Asian man." I watched the show back then (dating myself!), so I knew it was really "agent."

Just in case there are a few who don't remember, that's Stephen Bishop playing "I Gave My Love A Cherry" on the steps at the "Animal House" toga party - moments before Bluto smashes the guitar to pieces! (Bluto: "... Sorry.") #AT40 (P.S. That's Stephen's "Animal House" song over the end credits.)

(Hearing more of these little audio jumps and drop-outs on this week's #AT40. Casey's tech crew must have felt "Eh, Casey's on vacation. If the show ends up long, we'll just crunch it.")

You know who I was!!! (The Pistols' album wasn't out yet, so hunting these import 45's was a challenge. I remember my buddy & I driving from Chicago to Milwaukee to find "God Save!")

Peter Frampton to the world, fall '77: "Look, I got pretty tired of all the sniggers about the title track on my last album. I'm gonna put out "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" as a single. Everyone OK with that???" #AT40

Everyone has the absolute right to retire, but I sure do miss The B-52's!

As a huge fan of ABC-TV's "The Odd Couple," I could never let go of the thought "Hey - that's little Leonard Unger singing!" Leif Garrett's "Surfin' USA" on #AT40 fall '77.

Of course, Ted Nugent long ago revealed himself as a horrible human being. But... what just happened on this #AT40 re-broadcast? I mean, yeah, that guitar riff is the best part of "Cat Scratch Fever," but, really? That's all we hear? Odd edit sounding like something went wrong on orig. show.

Bee Gees to the world, fall 1977: "Hey, if you think you're tired of us now, just wait a couple months... !!" #AT40 ("P.S. - We have a brother... !)

So, Brick followed "Dazz" with "Dusic." If it ain't broke... 🙄 #AT40

Like many of our generation, I'd felt B.J. Thomas came out of nowhere with "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head." But, no - he'd been at it for years, and there's lots of good stuff to be heard. Check it out. #AT40

Oh, we had Camelot, for sure!

(Eternal thanks to Elton, Bernie, Gus & the band for "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road." The perfect palate cleanser after Andy Gibb. See y'all Saturday. #AT40)
