There is a lingering dread in a forced-compliance to 'being cozy' or to shy away from anything uncomfortable to the point of revolsion. It feels like being spiritually tied down against your will.

Horror as a genre brings the comfort of being uncomfortable in an environment with personal agency. +

Mp3 players with no radio/wifi battery eating bs ftw

Glad Bluetooth's gotten better but still like wired earphones not dependant on a battery life beyond the player itself.

Miss my iPod shuffle before Apple bolted them down to the Apple-store program that never worked right on PCs
