Based on the true story of the 1972 plane crash in the Andes & the book it inspired, Frank Marshall's take on the survival story is equal parts harrowing & disturbing. James Newton Howard's score is transcendent and the excellent script from John Patrick Shanley is elevated by the top flight cast.
