"This bench is one of several from the Griffith Park carousel where Walt spent many weekend hours while his daughters enjoyed it.
Diane recalls that he was never impatient, but let them ride as long as they wanted. Since his time in Kansas City he had been fascinated with amusement parks, remarking once to his friend Rudy Ising, "I'm going to have one some day, but mine's going to be clean!" The concept of a new kind of amusement park, one where parents and children could have fun together, occupied him as he sat on this bench, observing his own daughters and other families."

Didn’t buy too many souvenirs while at WDW, but did pick up this Twinings Teas while visiting the UK Pavilion, EPCOT.
Very strong, but tasty. Not a huge chocolate / hazelnut, note but it’s there. Would recommend. Thinking this persnickety Queen would even approve.

I took a Disney Resort bus last week from EPCOT back to Old Key West. I hadn’t been on one in a while. It was “fancy” with individual charging plugs for each seat. Are they all that way now?

Not great shots, I know, but here's what the Rivers of America area looked like on Sunday at the Magic Kingdom.
There are various photos and antiques displayed around “The Inn” at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. In the Puzzle room next to the Spa is a wall dedicated to Walt Disney and True Life Adventures. The images displayed are a somewhat odd mix of official portraits, scenes from “Water Birds”, and quotes.

Delayed flight. Apparently at MCO they will allow planes takeoff and land during fog but they will not allow a plane to be towed to its gate. 🫠

One thing I haven’t seen in years is an actual glass blowing artist at the Arribas Bros. Store on Main Street USA. We usually just miss his “show”.
