Johnson reminds me of a two-year old who has learned some ‘new’ words and phrases and then seeks out opportunities to display that ‘knowledge’, regardless of whether it is appropriate or adds substance to the current topic of discussion.

Every opportunity making the drive between Oswego and White Plains, I’d stop to buy supplies for my own bread escapades.

Now I order whole grain from Palouse and mill it myself with my KitchenAid milling attachment. Check them out.

Years ago, when I was working at Indian Point, I found a mill somewhere along the drive on NY17. It was run by a wonderful, older couple who were looking to retire. They would close every October to focus on milling grain for the NYC Jewish community. Then they’d open back up in early November.
