For the record I’m neither a bleeding heart liberal or a card carrying Nazi. I’m of a dying breed of independents who vote for people instead of parties. I’ve tended to vote for more liberals of late because of the Nazification of the right.

The problem with that is that sometimes you don’t live long enough to see the positive. I can remember being young and against everything my parents were for in the 60’s. It was only after I was over 30 that I understood what they really meant. By then my dad had passed and my mother was close too.

I hope so too. But where I live that will probably not be the case. It’s very rural, religious and uneducated. Most get all their news from preachers or Fox.

Farmers grow what they grow because of farm policy.

We don’t need all the soy and corn that we grow, but those are the commodities that receive subsidies and markets.

While I have never openly supported the PLO or any of the myriad organizations which followed the 1972 Munich incident, I find it troubling that none of us will admit that Netanyahu probably has no intention of agreeing to a two state solution to the problem. It's always a bait and switch.
