I bought this and the cover made me think that it would be a sort of light-hearted but spooky ghost story manga.

Not the case! Ghost stories, yes, but genuinely incredibly mean-spirited, cruel and grotesque. Loved it, cannot wait for volume 2.

The cover to 100 GHOST STORIES THAT WILL LEAD TO MY OWN DEATH. it has a boy being grasped around the throat by ghostly hands with red nails.
