i don’t understand how she can claim to love Shakespeare’s work and love literature and not grasp the very basic pieces of it. she did not drown over Hamlet… what in the main character syndrome.

i have got to dunk on her again

i took a college english course where we dissected the FUCK out of Hamlet. While yes Hamlet does reject her and make horrid remarks toward her, Hamlet goes to then kill Polonius (Ophelia’s father) where she then goes mad with grief, falls of the branch, and drowns.
