Being chronically ill isn’t laziness, it’s your body betraying you while the world pretends everything’s fine. Rest isn’t optional, doctor’s appointments are endless, and every plan comes with an asterisk. And yet someone always asks, “Can’t you just push through it?” No, Linda. I can’t.
