Ok so I've got a lot of new academic followers and I need to warn you that my feed is about 15% academic stuff and 85% dogs, cats and bread making. I also like to see what people are knitting/crocheting. So basically I like knowing other academics but mostly for the non-academic stuff you post!

It's more about getting them into a routine where they go at roughly consistent times of the day, then rewarding them for that and pairing it with the "toilet" command. If I told him to go at a time I knew was too close to when he'd been before he wouldn't, so I don't ask!

Spent the morning at the archery range in the next village today. At least 10 years since my last attempt and the first time doing it from a wheelchair but I'm happy to say it's a very wheelchair accessible experience! Think we'll be back as it's so local and my wife is hooked.

The thing about having a (retired) assistance dog that is trained to toilet on command is that has morphed into ONLY on command. Which means that having let him out this morning & gone to the loo myself I was met at the back door by a dog going OH MY GOD TELL ME TO GO TO THE TOILET I'M BURSTING 🙄😂

I have had the privilege of spending 15 years with my best friend and soulmate, and today is our 14th wedding anniversary ❤️ We have had a very happy afternoon celebrating it with a bike ride in a local deer park.
