She made a meta-irony, creating something that appears to miss the point, but, in doing so, perfectly embodies the very concept it seemingly misunderstands. A far supreme form of irony.

Last year we paid £58 for our family of 4 to watch MSND with the RSC in Stratford. To watch the Hunger Games on stage in London it's going to cost us a minimum of £320. That's insane.

My son, 12, diagnosed with #T1diabetes a few weeks ago, is now fully independent in school - he's sussed PE, lunch, trips, general day-to-day gubbins... He's an actual superhero, don't you think?

Important language point ⏬ I'll add that HR companies should rename 'probationary periods' for new hires - it sounds punitive, and one-sided, and that we are expected to fail.

if I were writing stories about the gov "firing thousands of probationary workers" I would probably rewrite as "firing thousands of new hires -- who are often on a status called "probation" --" because I think the general understanding of "probation" is "in trouble for something they did"
