I just got off a call with a group of young people who were seeking some guidance for a project they have launched in their community. Folks, I can tell you that we are blessed in this generation. They are smart and importantly so damn compassionate. ALSO, they know more than we did at their age.

Today's Strib front page headline was:

"Walz will sue if Nat'l Guard gets sent"

Real brave to bring paperwork to a gunfight.

I think I'm annoyed mostly that a single album as so much cultural inertia that it doesn't matter if it's good or not. The sales, press (good or bad), the volume of discourse will be the same.

I listened, didn't really like it. As the 12th studio release, I respect the history, and am fine that this isn't a banger.

There's defintely some self-righteous cringe in there. Edgy humor that doesn't really land.

I'm sure retrospectively the album will be more appreciated.

Over 40% of corn grown in Indiana is used to make ethanol that cars burn. One acre of corn yields about 16,500 vehicle-miles per year of ethanol, which sounds high until you realize that one acre of solar yields about 2,700,000 vehicle-miles per year: 16,000% more driving for a given plot of land.

I've been wondering why Dominion Voting Systems suddenly reached settlements with Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, and One America News.

Turns out, it's been purchased by a Republican-owned election tech firm that insisted on it, per Axios.

Thanks for the shoutout. These traffic counters are pretty innocuous as far as I can tell.

Does anyone in the Twin Cities have a folding bike they don't need... and want to donate to @mplscargobikelibrary.com?

When I take our e cargo bikes in to shops for repairs I usually pay for Lime bikes to get myself back home. I'd love to use a folding bike, instead.
