Oh I just interact with whomever I like. It's not my job to tiptoe around someone else's negative biases and assumptions. If they don't understand that supporting NSFW and kinky artists is in everyone's self-interest, that's telling and they're doing the work for me of removing themselves

It's important to forgive your younger self for being stupid, mean, or ill-informed. Dwelling on how bad your past self was only leads to self-shame. Know that they were doing the best they could with the information they had and the environment they were in.

I don't think it's possible to really love someone if you're carrying around insecurity and self-hatred. Those blindspots will always show in the relationship. You have to accept your whole self to wholly accept another

it's unfortunate how generational trauma confuses the meaning of the word love

love isn't need, it's not sacrifice, it can come in many forms. I think it does require accepting where others are at. But that doesn't mean being the mecha dragon from that one meme getting torn to nothing but wires

the idea that love and empathy arose out of evolution, or because we're mammals that rear their young has always grossed me out

empathy and love are literally laws of the universe I think. reptiles can love, bugs can love, even if they seem so alien to us, love seems like an inescapable principal
