We must prepare for Democrat attacks on DSA candidates by experimenting with many different ballot orientations, choosing the ballot condition most advantageous to socialist organizing in local conditions, putting us in a stronger position to handle a break whether we start it, or they do.

While DSA has had success by running candidates on the Democratic ballot line with a Party Surrogate model, this strategy cannot last forever. Either we will take over the Democrats (also known as the realignment strategy) or there will be a break eventually.

In both of these instances, regular working-class people would get organized, would push the regime to its limits, and shatter the strength it imagined it once had. A mass struggle based in the working-class with clear demands like these could bring Trump down before the next election. (8/12)

A little while ago I saw a post from a Democratic politician with a lot of comments asking what regular people can do to fight the Trump administration. Very often whenever Democratic politicians are asked, they don't have a good answer. (1/12)
