Want it on record that I am not happy with how @jaytholen.net handled things behind the scenes and how he ended things.

Honestly think what it's going to take for Hollywood to abandon Ai is for a major movie to use it and then actually lose a lawsuit from the person it stole from.

It's a liability, and we have to just hope a major lawsuit will break the whole thing open. It just needs to steal from the right company

Every time I've laughed at AI, like the RTVS Novel Ai streams, it's because it's genuinely funny people trying to break an expensive toy. It's their reactions to the insanity that make the comedy.

If RTVS just published the stories their AI wrote... it would be incomprehensible dog shit.

Ai CAN'T make a Lebowski. It can't even make Christmas Vacation 2.

AI can't write a story that, if read in a void without context, would make you laugh. Not even in a "sod bad it's good way"

It's fun(y) to interact with AI. It's fun(y) to watch someone interact with it.

It is incapable of making something that can be fun or funny on it's own. You need to witness someone reacting to the creation process to derive joy, because you are there to see it fail and people struggle against it.

LP: I love things like Ai Dungeon, Novel AI, and Suck Up! for goofing off with friends because it offers a unique experience.

That experience is one that lacks charm, tact, cohesion, and common sense. You never know where it's going to go because it's BAD. That's where AI should stay IMO. A TOY.

AI IS good for telling stories.

Really bad stories that are so awful they make you laugh. Ones with wild leaps in logic, or ones that repeat the same sentence again and again in slightly different ways.

The MOMENT Ai says something poignant you know it's just stolen word for word from someone.

Yet you pull up old Nancy strips and they're like the building blocks to comedy for years to come.

and in EACH case it has proven DANGEROUSLY UNTRUSTWORTHY.
