Keeping it simple this year as I’d rather divert energy used on this to other things, but the Four Point Raccoon Scale (a measurement of my enjoyment, not nevessarily quality) still applies

Either I think it's flat-out bad, it's in a currently unenjoyable state, or I just didn’t vibe with it for whatever reason.

oh yeah nah all good my copy of it is running at the best it ever has, it just isn’t a flat 60fps and sometimes has really bad stuttering out of nowhere and it was even worse before I updated lmao

Elden Ring, Borderlands 3, and a couple indies I had a few issues with like Caravan SandWitch and Amber Isle - and it’s a night and day difference. Even with a few dips, Metal Gear Solid Delta is around 60fps on high - it’s actually playable! Incredible,,

I played through Clair Obscur hovering around 45fps on low/medium with DLSS on. Now I’ve got it on high, no DLSS, and I’m sitting between 90-100fps. I don’t know how I stomached it before

I also tested some other games I couldn’t maintain a steady 60fps on -

while I have learned the RTX 5060 is not a great card for The Big 2025 and I will likely replace it at some point, it’s such a huge upgrade to my six year old RTX 2060 that I’m hard pressed to be upset. Like it’s literally twice as good as what I had before

Yeah after you get the dash and wall climb abilities and are just kinda let loose to stumble upon whatever the heck you find for 15 hours, that’s my favourite section of the game for sure

95) Hollow Knight

I would love it a bit more if there were more stagways and a bit less downtime between certain boss retries, but I feel enormously fulfilled after conquering so many of the game’s challenges despite it. Deserves every bit of adoration it’s amassed over the years

ok upon starting the app, this image looked kinda?? like AI, and when I took their stupid boneless-PMD personality quiz it gave me a summary that kinda seems genAI too

turns out it’s made by WishRoll, who have made a genAI app before. swiftest account deactivation of my life lmao no thanks fuck off
