Today I valued the chance to hear about the day program that Open House Center offers for adults with disabilities in our community and to learn about the positive impact it has on families (2/2).
Thanks to the Open House Center in Concord for welcoming me for a tour this afternoon. The disability community has long been close to my heart, and I am enraged at the ways the Trump Administration has targeted programs they rely on, including Medicaid (1/2).

I joined @schiff.senate.gov and @padilla.senate.gov in questioning this closure and expressing deep concern over disruptions in IRS taxpayer assistance for East Bay residents (2/2).
Earlier this year, President Trump issued an executive order that will result in the Walnut Creek Taxpayer Assistance Center being closed (1/2).
This is unacceptable and I urge Republicans to return to Washington and get back to work for the good of the American people (2/2).
