I curse in Norwegian because it's extremely unlikely anyone around me in the UK will know what I'm saying. It's kind of freeing knowing that 99% of people will not know you're saying some heinous shit.

It's fun when you start thinking in the language you're learning, especially if you find it more convenient than your native tongue. Certain concepts being easier to mentally comprehend by using another language system that simplifies it.

Reading is really enjoyable when you learn that it's okay to leave something unfinished, if you didn't enjoy it.

Recently if I can't get into a book after about 50-100 pages, I drop it, and it's helped me move on from reads not to my taste, and generally experience a wider variety of authors.

If I ever got isekai'd I'd want it to be to Undella Town in Pokemon's Unova region.

Gen 5 was peak Pokemon for me. Best storyline, best characters, some of the best music, excellent Pokemon designs and region design, interesting opposing factions, memorable locations etc.
