NZ Treasury has released many Budget documents to reveal around $8.5B hole in future funding + warning that continued broad-scoped "savings" /cuts would have diminishing returns in future.
Tax cuts by Finance Minister were irresponsible! Where will $ come from?

And the rest
“The $144m break fee is on top of money already paid to Hyundai, which takes the amount of taxpayer money National has poured down the drain to $222m. The rest is project management, landside infrastructure and paying to wind down the project– totalling more than half a billion."

Just watched www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLOj... and aside from being a damn good watch I thought framing in this shot, for the beehive to have googly eyes, was great as the currrent government are a bunch of "Muppets"!
#nzpol
A wide shot of the Beehive during a hīkoi protesting the Treaty Principles Bill. Streetlights in the foreground are positioned in a way that makes the Beehive appear to have googly eyes watching the marchers — a humorous and ironic image, given the current government's reputation as a group of "muppets."

And here is the bit that allowed him to save $27K in 2 years
"Davey’s mother suggested he move in with them rather than pay rent for a property he was never at. This allowed him to save more money for a deposit."

It's what they wanted all along! Now pay for the rich tax breaks by breaking your back for longer.
#nzpol
RNZ headline wich a picture of Christopher Luxon, imagine a thumb that has been hit by a hammer a few times, "'No-brainer' : Luxon says that raising the super again on cards for election". What an absolute cockwomble. I am pretty sure if he had to dig holes or do any sort of manual labour to pay his way in the world he would not be proposing raising the super age. But as usual it is make the poor work longer and harder to pay for tax cuts for the rich.
