She's the "Hybrid of the fog" because of Fog Canyon in case you're wondering. It's also a mystery how she came about because unlike how in splatoon jellyfish reproduce asexually, jellyfish in hollow knight don't reproduce at all. they're manufactured and were designed to contain the infection

Ok so this has sort of been in the back of my mind (for some reason) and I actually thought it'd be cool to make like a HK version of Muffin. Obviously not the same character, but the same base concept of a hybrid jellyfish thing
