Probably going to watch this but tbh I feel its because 1. fandom has higher standards towards female characters than male characers (are they misogynisttically written etc) 2. Fandom consists of mostly individualy who are attached to male charactter for whatever reason. 3. point 2 but media.

This isn'tt all Trails fans who are/used to be in FE justt tthose people who were vocally into FE and then "droppd" it after they got to Trails tend to be kinda obnoxious mro often than not.

JRPG fans whol ike both and fans of both tend to be at least okay in my opinion.

That and the fact Fire Emblem fans don't play games outside Fire Emblem and if they do they're super obnoxious about it. (cough "ex" FE fans who got intto either kaga saga stuff or trails tend to almost always have a weird superiority complex surrounding them)

The games are the most similar to each other i don't understand why one is treated as the fandom sacred cow while other iss borderline illegal to like unless you want people to shit you on and make cruel assumptions based on what you like.

The only way I'd return would be if Three Houses became universally as beloved/uncontroversial as Genealogy or if Genealogy became as divisive/controversial as Three Houses.
