Beedle has kinda usurped Tingle as "the weird guy they put in every game" now. i think to some degree that tracks because he's a lot easier to put in games because he has a dedicated traveling shopkeeper role

it's kinda interesting Tingle is still considered a fairly iconic part of the Zelda series a whole but he hasn't been in a new game since Hyrule Warrior's DLC in 2015 and his last mainline Zelda role was in Minish Cap in 2005

It’s kinda funny how like, it’s easy to respect Cawthon’s “I don’t want to put my characters in things that won’t fit them” stance on fortnite, like artistically that’s super easy to respect, but the comedy of this is we very much have seen what he’s approved anyway

i've begun to appreciate how much weight mario has in it i think. i don't think a lot of 3d platformers have very heavy feeling characters, and maybe understandably so why, but it makes 64 feel really unique, mario is like a truck in that game
