I am devastated to learn that a close family friend (and my personal hairstylist for many many years) lost her brand-new hair salon in a fire on Wednesday night.

She spent years working up to this and it's all gone in a blink. She was supposed to open up today 😭

Example: drive an hour and 15 up to Birmingham. I pay $50-60 to park my car and $30 for a tank of gas and the fare savings are erased.

And YESSSSS I know my origin airport is a factor but in my situation it becomes a matter of dealing with multi hour drives and potential time changes (along with paying for parking) to save MAYBE $100
