Couldn’t agree more. Much as I love Austen and Dickens, my heart sinks when I hear there’s going to be another adaptation of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ or ‘Great Expectations.’ They wrote Other Books.

I avoided the ‘new’ album to, well, avoid disappointment. But the last two 80s albums bear relistening - even if they have some incredibly sad songs. “The Day Before You Came” … heartbreaking.
