yes this is exactly what I’m on about. like, let it be has objectively terrible songs on it, nobody is going to argue for gary’s got a boner or tommy gets his tonsils out. but those songs make the record great rather than good

there actually aren’t that many. lots of albums are great but the ones that are sort of perfect/imperfect journeys through 40 minutes of narrative are rare as hen’s teeth
