Plus her album releases typically crash Spotify temporarily so it just makes sense to delay and not risk that hit. Like how all the devs who delayed their games after silksong was announced are probably now glad they did with how hard that game crashed multiple online retailers

Okay but the reason why I’m hoping that Wood isn’t on the setlist for Taylor’s next tour despite it being my second favorite song from showgirl is because then it opens it up to be played as a surprise song and I just know that a live acoustic version of that song would (haha) be AMAZING

And Speak Now TV and 1989 TV, now that I’m thinking about it. I waited to see what pressings she’d release and then decided I liked the standard pressings the best so that’s what I got. With TTPD I got the standard and then the anthology. This time around I got the standard pressing from the start—

Not to mention yall are like crows on meth the way you need to have every single sparkly vinyl variant you even remotely like. Wait for one that really sparks joy for you, and if that never happens, then stick with the standard pressing. That’s what I did for TTPD.

Everyone is all “the problem with Taylor having multiple vinyl variants is that she doesn’t release them all at the same time so you know what they all are” but tell me one artist who doesn’t do staggered vinyl releases. Even Sabrina did it for her latest album and she had more variants than Taylor
