“The long arm of the mad uncles – former senior politicians who can't resist getting involved in political business – was evident in the Liberals’ turmoil this week,” writes Chris Wallace. “Tony Abbott in Hastie and Price’s corner, and Dutton in the other.” satpa.pe/ALcKF4v

The Albanese govt’s first term was the second most secretive on record.

Rather than changing their ways, they’re doubling down and tightening our FOI system to make it even harder to get information. Not a single expert or member of parliament outside of the Labor party has backed their new bill.

The #NACC is a facade. Very expensive window dressing to pretend that there is work going on inside. Nothing much to do but take on the occasional part time job to pass the time.

Hint: it’s not actually a “justice system” but a legal process to inflict harm on adversaries.

Australia has one of the worst extinction records on Earth — and Labor’s doing a deal with the Coalition to overhaul nature laws.

Labor can’t protect nature while protecting polluters.

This shocking deal is a gross betrayal of millions of voters
Here's what Labor would do if they gave a rat's about the environment.
