CX - Steve Jobs discovered that the customer experience (CX) was the most critical factor in determining the success of commodity. It is therefore quite astonishing that in the current corporate era of treating everything as a commodity, customers are now treated as just consumers.

This is the really awful thing about this Malinaukas debacle. Lost opportunity for people who have done nothing wrong.
Imagine you were about to appear at a writers' festival to talk about your first book... then the whole thing fell apart.
