This is the season for airlines collapsing. They work throughout the summer months trying to raise profits to survive the winter. And unfortunately a fair few airlines suffer when they don’t.

This is bad news for Premier League clubs, who regularly use Eastern.

Our daughter has been amazing! Apart from some sleep issues, she’s very chilled and relaxed. Our son was (for reasons out of his control) really difficult for the first year!

Having a second baby really brings odd emotions to the surface. I feel sadness that I didn’t fully enjoy and appreciate what having our first child was like, because of the whirlwind his arrival caused.

Your first child is life changing. Your second feels easier because you’ve done it before.

Just going to put this out there. What WHSmiths do at service stations in this country should be illegal.

Price gouging on a massive scale. £3 for a bottle of Coca Cola. £6 for a bag of M&Ms. That’s American airport pricing.

And they do it because they have a monopoly on those spaces.

The excitement for today is tinged with sadness that my sister isn’t there to experience it. She would have loved seeing Palace in Europe.

I’m grateful to Palace for giving us such happiness after such tremendous sadness. It’s a reminder that even during a storm the sun is just waiting to shine.

A bit of both. Saw something recently on LinkedIn that was just AI bollocks and it’s just something I’m seeing more often.

I’ve seen some AI football content recently and it’s just embarrassing how obvious it is (to me at least.)

The use of AI slop is creeping in and it’s always so obvious, especially in written content.

Rather than enhance creativity it invariably just highlights those who lacked it in the first place.

We bought from the booth because we had my in laws with me, my wife and I had a two together card and the system wasn’t giving us the cheapest tickets.

Typically I buy tickets through my app but I wanted everyone to have tickets because we had two buggies with us!

Complexity was the issue.

Whoever at National Rail decided that printing tickets on flimsy pieces of paper with QR codes was a good idea should be sacked.

Yeremy Pino will take some time to adjust to English football, similar to how it took Daichi Kamada half a season.

Once he adjusts to the physicality and starts to anticipate that contact he’ll move the ball a little quicker and use his body a little better to protect it.

The weapon might have been a hunting rifle (I don’t know enough about the Mauser 30-06 Bolt Action rifle to say) but the ammunition it fired was used by the military.

The point is, that’s the kind of destruction that school kids suffer in shootings, sometimes worse. It rips through anyone it hits.

The damage it caused to an adult was incredible. Instantaneous death, really.

Now imagine that happening to a kid. A pre-schooler or a teenager.

Imagine being okay with that.

It doesn’t bear thinking about.

The Charlie Kirk murder, specifically the footage of it, should make people realise that it is that level of violence and destruction that gun rights advocates are comfortable with when they roll out their defence of the Second Amendment.

These are weapons of war, intended to cause maximum damage.

If there is one thing I miss the most about Sarah, it’s her laugh. And it’s one of those things I don’t have many recordings of.

I know it. I can still hear it. But I’m terrified of losing it in time.
