Horrifying story. This deserves international coverage, as does Israel releasing an 18 year-old Palestinian with autism today.

Israel has banned released Palestinians from talking w/ media. It’s also stopped Palestinians from celebrating released prisoners in the West Bank.

When the government says “there are too many children with autism” and then eliminates the entire special education department, what they’re really saying is:

“We don’t want to support them.”
“We don’t value them.”
“We’d rather erase them than educate them.”

That’s not leadership. That’s cruelty.

from what i've seen online (haven't watched it at all and probably never will), apparently its one of those rare cases where the stereotypical portrayal of autism is not used.

i remember i saw somewhere once that peta is a psyop by the meat industry to make animal rights activists look awful.
i don't personally believe in conspiracies but if there was one that has a massive chance it would be real it has to be that one.

american culture is the kind that devours itself to make more.
(and when it can devour anything more, well you get what is happening now).

don't worry it happened to me too (and i have similar regrets).

depression meets chronic fatigue meets reduction of skills.

no.
specially when they leave you to rot like a jar full of fruit someone left on a dark cupboard too long.
(weird analogy, but that is my experience at least).

is it actually edible tho?
for me bright colors in nature always dictate toxicity.
rrhiwhol34.bsky.social
yep, when you are constantly fleeting from crisis to crisis your health is going to suffer like hell.
reminds me of an article i read where the stress of wallstreet was sending me to pelvic floor therapy.

ocasionalmente.
mas que nada porque tampoco me gusta la comida muy grasienta que digamos.
pero si puedo freir sin problema, ya que luego me sienta asqueado por lo que comi es otro problema.

Every time someone talks about “curing” autism, what they’re really saying is:

That autism is a disease
That we are broken
That we shouldn’t exist

It’s not just wrong - it’s dehumanising

We’re not a problem to be solved.
We’re real, valid humans

Why is that so hard to see?

The Trump administration wants you to be stressed.
They will use this to declare martial law.

Being direct isn’t rudeness.
Needing quiet isn’t disrespect.
Avoiding eye contact isn’t dishonesty.
Autistic communication isn’t broken it’s just not neurotypical.
Learn our language too dam

Autistic truth makes people uncomfortable because it’s not performative.

We name what’s broken without decorating it.

It’s not rudeness.

It’s clarity.

And clarity is sacred.

From what i've seen most factors are both environmental and genetic.
(which is basically a big maybe, but it is plausible).
rrhiwhol34.bsky.social
yep, i would also say that is why there is such a "cultural decline" these last few years.
