Horrifying story. This deserves international coverage, as does Israel releasing an 18 year-old Palestinian with autism today.

Israel has banned released Palestinians from talking w/ media. It’s also stopped Palestinians from celebrating released prisoners in the West Bank.

When the government says “there are too many children with autism” and then eliminates the entire special education department, what they’re really saying is:

“We don’t want to support them.”
“We don’t value them.”
“We’d rather erase them than educate them.”

That’s not leadership. That’s cruelty.

from what i've seen online (haven't watched it at all and probably never will), apparently its one of those rare cases where the stereotypical portrayal of autism is not used.

i remember i saw somewhere once that peta is a psyop by the meat industry to make animal rights activists look awful.
i don't personally believe in conspiracies but if there was one that has a massive chance it would be real it has to be that one.

yep, when you are constantly fleeting from crisis to crisis your health is going to suffer like hell.
reminds me of an article i read where the stress of wallstreet was sending me to pelvic floor therapy.

That autism is a disease
That we are broken
That we shouldn’t exist

It’s not just wrong - it’s dehumanising

We’re not a problem to be solved.
We’re real, valid humans

Why is that so hard to see?
