i have the feeling that they slap zeitaku na kanjou onto everything regardless of which version it is... they do that with many songs tbh. i found it hard to accept when shiniyuku was used for the 2nd anni pv but they used both rkyk and rkyi cgs 😔

ig after they show the skill animation, they show this cg and yuina says that "trust me" line before it cuts to that horrible style illustration but it doesn't look like ruka actually has anything to do with it (but tbf rkyk's are the only pvs where the other person actually talks)

i've trimmed out the unison reveal and the audio is bad because i recorded it on my phone but the this unison pv is so sad despite being just as long as the others' bc there's nothing to show! every other unison pv reminded me of the story and made me emotional but this was so ? 😭

she isn't even the only senpai around and i'd argue that hisame has done more senpai things than her 😭 (like what she teaches ruka in 5.1 actually makes a difference unlike yuina's optional dialogues)

yeah but their relationship is still nowhere near as important as bunwaki or karekare even platonically. that's why they had to add stuff because there's nothing to showcase otherwise. it's similar to how they give aoi the beam gimmick bc her character doesn't inherently stand out

that more bc it's one reason i like his music... he's very "i do it bc i like it and if it resonates with you, i'm glad. if it doesn't, idc" about it while he's desperately trying to impress his audience when writing. i also wish he was allowed to write heavier things but everyone hated AB collab2

i'd read maeda's novel before going to sleep so now that i'm done, i feel so sad 😔 i miss his girls so much. i think that in a way, it's his best work because he's the most sincere in it? he isn't trying to appeal to anyone or make them cry. he's simply conveying his thoughts. i kind of wish he'd do

hearing them back to back while translating made the contrast stand out to me but why is yukki's voice so high in her unison's lines when she sounds the same in the skill animation and in ruka's unison 😭 i'm a big fan of deep voices so i love her usual voice but the gap moe is killing me

oh she definitely still is. 5.1 didn't even change her much tbh and she seems more or less fine only bc of her support network. she's still a very flawed character

i think maeda mostly forgets to write one-on-one dynamics within a group but yukki's the one with the strongest bond with every 31A member after ruka. she bonds with every 31A character in their focus chapter/event

i wish i weren't so nosy but haters bother me less than lovers with bad takes...? i think i got more upset when i saw a yukki lover say that she only cares about ruka and that's the point of 5.1 😭
