Honestly, having Toews "in house" could be such a boon for Yags, we know the kid has offensive prowess, but mix in Toews defensive acumen will make Brayden a more complete player.

1 if they can re-sign Ehlers

2 if Ehlers signs elsewhere go and get what's available based on set market value

The risk being other players signing elsewhere

Cautiously optimistic here.

As long as we're realistic as to what he's bringing to the table. Bottom six, who brings leadership, experience, and is a face-off specialist. Then as the season rolls along, we reassess his spot in the lineup.

UFA/homegrown, Vilardi, Fetts
Easier to find a top six wing than a centre these days. Fly gets his top line opportunity, and Vilardi pivots. Thoughts?
