Rich people are in massive debt because their large asset value allows them to access low interest loans, and high interest investments, reaching a point where said the interest on investments exceed the interest on said loan.

This is why there is the tendency to "play with other people's money."

That is simply how bad income inequality has gotten in this world.

Non-Whites, Non-Males and Non-English-Speakers are still magnitudes less likely to be very rich, and magnitudes more likely to be very poor.

Well, to put it simply, it would be if it wasn't for how few people are very rich.

The fact is that being very rich is such a small percentage of people, that if you overlap every single factor other than your parents being rich, it is still nearly a statistical impossibility.
