I added cheap art commissions (base price $10-25) on my website. I’m offering a discount for fellow indie authors (code AUTHOR for $5 off). There are more examples of my work on the site. ☺️ #queerart #queerartist #indieauthor #queerauthor #pridemonth

Update: I wrote more than I had in a long time, but I didn’t get any cleaning done and then the relaxed vibe carried over into Saturday and I spent too much money and now today I have to do all the chores I didn’t do the last two days 🫢 ADHD requires the pressure, I fear.

I’ve decided to be intentional about not putting pressure on myself for *anything* today. Will report back with results. 🫡 (insert that clip of Snooki saying “this is gonna be so bad”)

Found out today that some of the worst people I know recently had a baby.

“The New Teens Titans (‘84)” was actually a gender-inclusive competition to see who could get away with showing the most cleavage. And I think Cyborg might have won.
Cover for “The New Teen Titans” issue 1 featuring Donna Troy (a white woman with dark hair in a red bodysuit with golden stars), Starfire (an orange woman with red hair and a purple bodysuit), Cyborg (a Black man with dark hair in a silver bodysuit), Nightwing (a white man with dark hair in a blue and gold bodysuit), Changeling (a green man with darker green hair in a red and white bodysuit), and a green bird in the foreground. A fiery background surrounds the silhouette of Raven (a cloaked woman) and Jericho ( a white man with blond hair) the background

This is also the third cast exit in a row that removed a queer character (and only the white man among them got a happy ending). If not even the most liberal, diverse shows are safe for the queer and Latine communities… what are we doing?

Grey’s Anatomy killing their only Latine character in this political moment is actually infuriating.

If I wrote an MM-adult (college, probably) take on Bring It On… would anyone read it?

Grey’s Anatomy can be split into three eras for me - The Cristina Era and The Maggie Era, both of which I genuinely enjoyed, and Whatever This Is now, which I’m struggling with. There are still characters I like on the show, but the vibes are very off.

Actually, I have one strong opinion about it now - it’s very sinister for a billionaire to drop endless variants of an album that she seems to have put very little effort into, knowing her young fans will spend the money just to perpetuate their parasocial attachment and loyalty to her.

I don’t have a strong opinion on this Taylor album, but I’m amused that I’ve heard all of the following defenses of it:

1. It’s not supposed to be deep.
2. People who don’t like it just aren’t smart enough to get it.
3. It’s satire.
4. It’s a “love letter” to pop music.
