I think she was maybe under the weather and burnt out by her workload. She moved on to me after doing a full head of highlights without so much as a 2-minute break or cup of tea.

Good point. Thanks mate. I won't leave the salon without saying something, but *after* is a good call. It really wasn't her fault that she was flagging so badly even before she started, but no one was there to intervene.

I think I'll frame it as "I was a bit shocked no one senior could see how badly she was struggling - I assume welfare safeguards are in place".

I just can't spare the cost of another haircut at the minute. Can't think of anywhere I can get it for less than £50. £40 maybe if I really shop around.

The other day I had comfortably the worst haircut of my life and I keep thinking about calling and asking if they can fix it? but also the girl doing it was clearly having a terrible day. She had to get someone to take over for 5 mins coz her hands were shaking. I don't wanna get her in bother.
