Dunno if this counts as a new year's resolution, but I think I'm gonna stop tolerating fatphobia. I don't mean be aggy about it, but when someone's casually fatphobic I usually ignore it and change the subject, but I might start saying "I dunno., I think body shape's a pretty neutral quality"

Lads, after a week of sleep deprivation I hadd over 7hrs sleep, ands I've never taken Heroin, but I'm willing to bet this was better.

I know one night's sleep was unlikely to return me to baseline after four night with virtually no sleep, but I've never known weariness like this. Still noticeably cognitively impaired and no appetite whatsoever.

Found myself worrying that owning lots of different coloured nail varnishes might not be the key to personal, emotional, and spiritual fulfilment. Then I remember I'm overtired and that can really skew your view of reality.

Yesterday I txt the building group chat to apologise for my parcels cluttering the post area coz I'd been poorly and unable to carry them up, but that I'd sort it.
Half an hour later two guys knocked having brought them all up for me, including a heavy one containing 24 bottles of water 😭

4th consecutive night with less than 3hrs sleep due to bad pain.
My sporaadic encounters with pain always remind me how bad ass chronic pain sufferers are. If I had to deal with this constantly I would be,
1. a giant baby about it
and
2. a short-tempered dickhead to all and sundry

I've been in a lot of pain the past two nights and not slept more than a couple of hours each night. I have now passed through tired to wired.
I have a full day of mandatory training tomorrow.
All I know is this can only end beautifully.

Catching up on a bunch of admin because the lack of unpredictable noise and gentle hum of traffic after midnight is so soothing that mundane tasks are no longer a chore.
