Scotland made heavy weather of that, but the 2-1 win over Belarus guarantees Scotland will at least be in the playoffs to qualify for the 2026 World Cup finals.

Realistically, going by recent performances, no-one will be worried about playing Scotland.

Greece bossed this game for an hour, Christie scored from nowhere and the game turned. Even at 2-1, Gunn had a save to keep Scotland ahead. Dykes put the icing on the cake to keep Scotland’s qualifying campaign on track.

There's still a lot of detail to be worked on and agreed, but this is a significant breakthrough after two years of death and destruction in Gaza. Hoping and praying this leads to justice and sustainable peace for everyone in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Went to see an #Edinburgh lawyer today.

Not only was he younger than our kids, he was wearing sports casual trousers, an open neck shirt with no tie, & training shoes!

This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.
