i love that they've never remade gundam '79. i remember people hoping for it after space battleship yamato 2199 and the origin OVAs but it's still never happened. it feels like they're saying "trust us, it's good"

if they wanted someone to side with Cliffjumper, they could’ve easily used Warpath, esp since he hasn’t gotten to do much but stand around 🤡

IMO Bluestreak felt like he was being set up to side with Elita’s embitternent, so this scene would’ve made more sense with a different Autobot - like Warpath, an underutilized G1 character who didn’t have as much of a distinct characterization to work with

While he did sorta side with OP here, IMO this reads more like him giving a tough love motivational speech to make the best of a situation he really does hate - esp considering that his core bio trait is being talkative to avoid thinking about his trauma

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think Bluestreak is the right character for this…

When Bluestreak was first introduced, he seems just as resentful of Optimus as Elita is. & in his previous appearance, he looked ready to chain up Cliff without needing orders to lol
