Leftist redneck from Mississippi and now NC. Brewing beer and making wine in a barn for a non profit brewery and winery is a lot better than wearing a suit all day in a Federal Courthouse

That would still be protected speech and there is literally nothing he could do about it being said to his face.
The burden of proof would be on the plaintiff to prove the statement false, and whether or not someone is a pedophile is opinion and not falsifiable.
There is simply no way for Trump to falsify the statement that he is a pedophile and to prove it false.
There is no means by which Trump could prove he isn't a pedophile, much less prove the actual malice requirements as a public persona.
Trump's public connections to Epstein are widely reported. You want the government to punish people whose speech hurts your feelings, but whether or not you consider someone a pedophile or a groomer is protected speech Is both opinion and hyperbole.
You should Google "opinion based on disclosed facts." Whether or not someone considers someone else a pedophile entirely depends on how that person chooses to define it. Trump's public links to Epstein are sufficient disclosed facts to protect the opinion. No matter how much you dislike free speech
You literally wanted the government to punish people for calling Trump names. You despise freedom of speech.
You can't retroactively make something illegal. That is some serious fascism nonsense.
Your hatred of free speech and the US Constitution is duly noted. Statements of opinion based on disclosed facts aren't actionable because of the First Amendment.
Literally had to walk out onto a public sidewalk and drag him inside so they could pursue trespassing charges.

Defamation per se does not mean that the thing is inherently defamatory. It only means that damages are assumed during some portion of the litigation. Damages are just one element. You have to meet all of them.
Whether or not you believe someone is a liar is protected opinion. Whether or not they did the thing you accuse them of lying about may be actionable as a statement of fact.
Through default. Not because calling someone a liar, absent anything else, is actionable defamation.
"People shouldn't be allowed the freedom to criticize the things I say" - this fascist.
Oooooeeee there are a lot of people with gags in their hands on this site. Used to be a nice open space for idea exchange.
Your hatred of free speech is duly noted, but people telling you an asshole is not an infringement or a gag. It's just people telling you that you are an asshole.

Should the New York Times be sold to Pennysaver and its editors sent to work in Amazon warehouses? It depends on who you ask.
I have bad news for you about the people that just pulled up next to us on the beach.
I have stopped asking people "how are you?" and replaced it with "What you know good?" I want the person answering to think and answer on what good things are happening rather than *waves hands dramatically* all of this.

The deportation order is based on Vedam’s conviction for murder—a crime he did not actually commit and for which he’s now been wholly exonerated. He entered the US at 9 months old and was a legal permanent resident before his conviction. We are so, so, so far from the light of justice.
After spending 43 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, evidence hidden by the prosecution reversed his conviction. Rather than finally enjoying freedom, ICE abducted him for deportation

Depraved.

He was wrongfully imprisoned for 43 years. Moments after being released, ICE took him
Subramanyam “Subu” Vedam now faces deportation.

Also: if you work for ICE, even if you’re not one of the ones arresting citizens or tackling 15-year-olds or zip-tying kids together and segregating them by race, you’re part of the mechanism making it happen, and you should suffer long-term social and post-regime-change consequences.
Some weirdo on Twitter has been absolutely melting down for like 36 straight hours because I posted:

When this is over, do not forget what ICE did, and what ICE is. And do not make room for them in society. Make sure they know that they are, and will continue to be, reviled and beneath contempt.
