"Nobody under the age of 45 has cable" is just nonsense. It DOES skew to an older demographic, but lots of younger people have it.

Don't forget ESPN is available on cable and on a number of other bundled services like YouTube TV and Roku, as well as separately (or as part of the Disney bundle).

Do you have figures to back up your claim that F1's official service is the primary way people watch the sport? It may just be my demographic, but everyone I know consumes F1 on ESPN (in the US) or Sky (in the UK).

"Recording" F1 on YouTube TV means I can watch all sessions whenever I want. For example, I can start watching from the beginning while the session is currently underway (and without forcing me to roll back from the current spot). Does F1TV allow that?

The ability to "record" an #F1 race and watch it later is very important to me because so many races are held in time zones hostile to my sleeping needs. With the ESPN coverage, I have used YouTube TV to do this. This new deal will likely be a major hassle for me.
