So the shelter gave her the exact opposite of a male dog, and she was dubbed “Dolly”. (As in “Dolly Mama”, not Parton) So we call her Dolly Bean, Baby Bean, Teen Mom/Bean Mom, Bean Machine, etc. Lou, our older Chihuahua, is now String Bean, Queen Bean, and whatnot

We too have a “Bean”. My fiancé wanted to foster a male dog because she thought it would be easier on her old chihuahua mix. The shelter dropped off Dolly. She quickly deduced that it was, in fact, not a boy but a girl, and she was shaped like a jellybean. Turns out she was pregnant with 6 puppies.
