2nd coat of the “premium 2K” clear on so far. Sanded down last night to smooth, touched up some parts of the stripes with a paint pen in prep to try getting it right today. 🤞

I even sanded through some of the thin black line to get the top leveled enough but fortunately a black paint pen has been available for touch ups & looks good enough. Hopefully still will under the 2K clear I’m hoping to spray on tomorrow!

Still just a couple of lower area in lines but this is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the rough & uneven way it way when I started sanding tonight!

I still wish I’d been anywhere near that room to hear the hourly cacophony of unsynchronized Eeps occurring hourly until some poor tech support person came by to turn them all off.

So of course before I left, every unused iMac in the room was set to play the wild eep sound hourly on the hour at full volume… as a security notification for the college tech staff, naturally.

I found an option for the computer to play a sound at particular intervals. Odd, but ok. Then I found a sound titled “Wild Eep”… then I noticed that all the machines had manually set clocks (not synchronized to anything)…

After getting bored with the offerings of the late 90’s internet, & out of curiosity, I started clicking around into the settings… at that time no login was required on iMac computers (at least these ones as config’d at that time), which I found appalling from a tech & security perspective.
