subject anymore. People go to national competitions for a reason. If you win a competition you have proof that you are better than everyone else in that subject and also that you have the knowledge and skills to deal with real life problems.(2/3)

People keep saying that having a degree (for example in computer science) or a PhD doesn’t guarantee you a job anymore like it was in the past. But the reality is that having proof that you have completed the course doesn’t demonstrate that you actually the knowledge or real-life skills in that(1/3)

I don’t understand why everyone seems to support the idea of the industrialisation of the furry fandom recently, in Spirit Halloween. It kills the whole point of wearing a fursuit which is to bring a character to life and is borderline disrespectful to furries as a whole.

If it’s about making the fandom more accessible why don’t we focus on real problems in the fandom like grooming and the literal “age restriction” to be able to safely communicate with and make friends in the fandom.
