very difficult to talk about, but I have had a LOT of one-way transactional relationships, and seeing support from others when I truly KNEW there was no benefit to them beyond MY wellbeing, has made everything easier - I don't just mean the getting into a safer situation thing. genuinely EVERYTHING.

I'm still getting a lot of things, not least of all my brain, back in order, but it's getting better and better, and it's deeply important to me to mark who showed up for me

finally was able to catch the first episode of #criticalrole season 4, and after having sat out season 3, my overwhelming takeaway was "ohhh, I missed these players..." and "hell yeah Sir Julien super cunty"

like I want to be clear that there is real danger in demonstration

it may sound counterproductive to sometimes unplug yourself... but it is actually necessary

don't worry, when you plug back in, you have more to give - to yourself AND others. it's important

something I've learned and am getting better about practicing is

if you don't give your brain time to rest
if you don't occasionally do nothing at all save for vibe
if you never allow yourself extended peace

your mind will start fighting for it, anyway it can. this is why I lost focus for so long

see, I haven't been to Austin, but yeah, my understanding from people who have been to/lived in both is this is EXACTLY it. it's SO silly, it's just a town full of trees, murals, coffee shops, and bicyclists. most of them are white and would love the Alamo Drafthouse. Republicans are: terrified.
