I think my only real complaint is they don't clamp on my head quite enough. Maybe I can bend a couple pieces of metal real tight and tape them on to compensate?

DEFINITELY glad I went for the ones with wired functionality. You don't really notice the sound compression most of the time over wireless but it started to bother me while composing. Once you plug in, you get all the clarity you need.

I ended up settling on one. I wanted a good mic and 3.5mm aux. I ended up with a good mic and using it wired over USB. There were really only like 2 options with good mics and what I picked was the only one that had any kind of wired usage for when I need it.

They're not too bad to work on. You can get them open with just the Framework screwdriver. The 10G weight on the bottom is attached with magnets, so it makes a great screw holder.
