I love knowing the fire emblem team has no interest in working with sexual predators to the point they recast Byleth after Three Houses dropped and they flat out removed art from fire emblem heroes to expunge the work of a child sex predator.

2026 is the year we should all start reading books again

Books are lovely. Libraries are wonderful places. Second hand book shops are mysterious and magical. Markets and fairs always contain surprise gems. And there are even cafes in forgotten street corners with excellent coffee and reading nooks

I read an interview today where Alison Bechdel talked about using chatGPT for a panel of her recent comic -- she prompted it and copied the results -- and I still don't know what to do with that. It genuinely feels in moments like this like so many of our art elders are failing us.
Catching up with what James Gurney, the Dinotopia artist, is up to these days. Pathetic.

Aren't plane maps an exercise in *thinking?* Like the point is to understand an object, not to produce a low-poly rendering.

The ADHD struggle of 'it's too quiet, I need some noise. No, not that noise. Different noise. Quieter noise. No, louder than that. Louder. Louder. Quieter. Quieter. Perfect!'

And then repeating that every 20 odd minutes.

think of all the cool art we’re missing out on because creators are constantly fighting to survive economically, fighting against corporations trying to automate creation, battling online trolls, nagging to get paid for work completed, learning to be being social media marketers, learning to be publ

I don't listen to a lot of new music, but Die in the Disco by Night Club is a good bop. Feels out of time [positive] with a lot of 80s vibes. The video is rad too.

Funny, haven't heard the phrase "States rights" during all this "the president invades states on a whim" debacle. Despite it being repeated so often it was drilled into my--a Canadian's--head long ago.

NATO moving troops into Greenland is nice because it shows they're taking it somewhat seriously, but also... I didn't want it to be serious. I wanted to be wrong and overreacting.

This is offensively boring. There were ballsier ads in Nintendo Power in the 90s. I guess they think it's DEI to have a hot woman in a bikini selling cereal but a guy selling cereal is gay?

This advertising campaign was made by and for people afraid of everything.

Also the kerning is bad.

Between @jekeep.bsky.social and I, we wrote really fun stories with a natural flow, great dialogue, unique hooks, and phenomenal sex scenes. Editing them always leaves me hot and bothered ☺️

I'm also a good cover designer who is flexible enough to keep learning how to improve.
Artists, I think we're all too comfortable sharing our imposter syndrome.

I would love to see you step out of your comfort zone and confidently state what you think you're actually really good at.

No self deprecation, just what you think you're the strongest at

Is anyone brave eniough? 👀

Watching the new episode of Fallout, and they've finally arrived in New Vegas. I hope they give us Fisto. It'd be a criminal loss not to give us Fisto.

I love the deathclaws in the fallout show and them feeling more practical effects is so perfectly fitting to the vibes of the show. Love it.
