The more Star Wars that comes out the more I realize how much it benefited from an air of mystery around its wider galaxy and lore.
Every new spinoff, sequel or prequel is just sapping appeal from the franchise at this point.

I can't help but feel that as we got better at solving issues with computers and software, our society simultaneously got way worse at simpler, better solutions via smart engineering.

Since going wide with my books, I still make the majority of sales via Amazon.
I *was* selling more on Itchio, but after being delisted bc of the payment processor crackdown on NSFW that’s no longer viable.
And other channels like Kobo/Smashwords/etc make up a tiny percentage of sales.
