Probably my favourite work of ours. And it's spawned a dozen more followups in my mind I need to finish writing out!
"Edgy and twisted, Natural Born Sinners is a gripping gothic occult fiction novel, with splashes of cosmic horror and dark romance."

One of the many worst parts of "GenAI" is that companies keep believing the OpenAI lies, and instead of creating their own complex but private and well run algorithms, they're instead going through these data hungry intermediaries.

The tech becomes worse, and at a huge privacy cost.

I've been waiting on two appointments since last summer, and I got two calls today, both of them offering me Clarenville appointments for Monday??? At different times??? What luck is this?

This is a good article. So much of gamer discourse now is driven not only by disingenuous trolls, but screeching YouTubers and reviewers looking for ragebait.

It was a very good game doomed before it launched. Better to disconnect and just enjoy.

(Also, I liked the characters overall.)

Still haven't listed any horror. But I'm trying to list stuff I've not talked about before, and I feel I've yapped endlessly about all my horror game loves...

I'll have to think in case I'm forgetting some.
Let's do it!

But I hope you're prepared for a jarring mix of colourful Nintendo games and grim horror.

Of course, apologies. I take it all back. The makers of Fire Emblem would never so much as imply such scandalous behaviour!

America's new $13billion war crimes carrier has a broken toilet/sewage system that is plaguing the thousands of war criminals aboard it.

"A March 18, 2025 email from the engineering department sent out to all chiefs on the ship said there were 205 breakdowns in four days."

Canadian faculty & students are prevented from accessing their own work at Canadian universities… by U.S. trade policy. This scandalous extraterritoriality is just the tip of the iceberg of Canada's vulnerability to U.S. tech aggression. I explain in @thestar.com: www.thestar.com/business/opi....
Trump’s trade policy has digitally invaded Canadian universities. Here’s how, and why you should worry
By outsourcing IT to a U.S. company, writes Jim Stanford, students at more than 100 Canadian schools, including the U of T, are at the whim of Trump's U.S. trade

By demanding everyone "pick a side", the US is actually forcing American imperialism to the forefront of political discourse in countries where loyalty to American empire was always a given, the ruling classes did not question it. And it was not a topic open for debate to the public.

Now it is.

The US already has military bases in Greenland. It has militarily controlled the island since World War II. Its allies like Denmark have also been obsequiously subservient.

There is literally nothing to gain by forcing the issue and claiming it formally. But a lot to lose. It's oafish barbarism.

For its desire to conquer Greenland, the US is using the "threat" of Russia and China as pretext.

All Western governments are responsible for creating the false impression of this threat. When the reality is that neither country has the ability to threaten the regions like that. And never did.

I was a regular on the teenmag forum, a place filled with teen girls and no moderation at all. I remember one girl was convinced to put her chest in hot water to grow her breasts and she got burns from it! A heinous place but outside of chatrooms and Usenet, it's my first long timer.
Okay, let's get nostalgic
