A two story building, painted off-white with navy blue trim stands to the left of a one-story stucco-covered shop that once appeared to have been a convenience store and deli, but is now directing patrons to the "Surf Hut" Surfing Supplies and rental store next door. AT the front door of the two-story a wizard, happy and waving appears to in high spirits for his surf-shop. A couple of palm trees frame the taller building, as well as a large leafed plant. There's an ice machine in front of the one-story building and next to it is a drinks vending machine advertising "WIZ COLA" and the machine is filled with various bottles, drinks, and elixirs. To the right of the machine is a trash can and next to that is a board with information about the beach down below the berm that makes up this shop's location. To the right of the board is a souple of signs indicating that swimming is permittable at the beach far below. A handful of beach umbrellas can be seen far below. The water is blue and welcoming with waves rolling into shore. Behind the Buildings is a parking lot which currently holds a small yellow car and an older looking camper van from which two bikini-clad witches had hopped onto their brooms. The first witch holds her broom parallel to her body, gently lifting off in her pink and periwinkle swim attire, her matching sandals and hat are stark against the billowing clouds in the sky. The second witch has a surfboard (a rather small one) tucker under her right arm. She appears to have landed on her broom, ready to zoom down to the water. A vivid Blue horizontal landscape, for Sci-fi TTRPG "Stations and Starships" by Frigid Pigeon Inc. The central focus of the piece is a tall wedge'shaped ship half in the water and half above. On its large dorsal wing are two smaller "fin" wings to which sails are attached - one in full sheet to the wind. Around this ship in the distance are other ships, similarly designed all with different configurations of wings and fins and flying flags of all colors. Further back a sort of docking station above the roiling ocean below, from which a distant ship is leaving. In the sky far above another planet and its moon can be seen through partial cloud cover. Below the waves of the planetary ocean is teeming with all manner of life -- most notably large deep blue/purple whale like creatures that swim along side the starships floating in the water. There are also schools of fish and smatterings of jelly-fish-like creatures stretching into the far distance of the sea. A spread from my fantasy western, Hexslingers. On the left main character Katie nervously exits the scene of and an onlooking crowd. She grabs her pointed tan-colored witches hat from the ground, knocked off her head by a spell - which as also left a hole in the main body of the hat. She stuffs it onto her head and mounts her blue spectral horse, telling another figure "Doc" Thorn Willoughby, that it's "time to go." He agrees with an "mmhmm" On the right a splash page featuring a large wooden trestle attached to a cliff upon which sits a western style town. at the tip a crowd is hustlin and bustlin, all while screaming, "We're free! Justus [an evil deputy] is dead! Down with Mancers!" below heading down the path we see Katie and Doc making their escape. With three inset panels we see Katie speaking to Doc. She says, " Doc... frightful sorry 'bout yer arm" to which doc replies, "Don't fret. the other morning I woke up from a really intense, cinematic fantasy-esque adventure dream and tried to write it down on my phone even though I was struggling to keep my eyes open. when I opened the doc up later to read what I'd written, this is what I found

painted a design tonight, referenced from Horizon Forbidden West concept art by Lloyd Allan, for my Aloy magic the gathering deck
a portrait orientation vista of a beach in the Isle of Spires from Horizon Forbidden West, the now tropical remains of the city of San Francisco, 1000 years into the future. a couple of ruined vehicle lie buried in the sand, water washing to shore, towered over by decaying skyscrapers overgrown with lush foliage and trees. the vista stretches into the far background. large clouds loom in the sky beyond. on the top left, a logo, fashioned after the "enhanced weapon with coils" achievement icon by artist Liselore Goedhart the interior of each "coil" has a water droplet and a growing sprout to signify this deck as a blue and green type magic deck the aforementioned design as represented on the dragon shield website to give a facsimile of how the sleeves will look once printed. the sleeves have a painterly white border and rest atop a fuax wooden surface

I've been painting some magic the gathering proxies for my partner who's been fine-tuning a Furby deck for the past couple of months

Here's a Furby Squid.

It is an abomination.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey says 29 people were arrested in downtown last night during a noise demonstration at a hotel reportedly housing ICE agents: "For those that are taking the bait and causing property damage or otherwise, there are consequences. We're holding the line here all the way."

This is so real, they tried it this morning in Bloomington. They stopped a man, people started honking horns, they split up to fuck with everyone else, which brought more attention and more noise, people got out of their cars and started filming, they left. They're cowards.

obviously not in the sense that it’s stopping everything, but they are being stalled so much by trying to find places where they aren’t watched, wasting so much manpower and resources on crowd control and even arresting observers they know will just get released. i am so proud of everyone
