On top of that, you'll be losing negotiation power to competition from other buyers trying to panic-buy a new house before the rates go back up.

Buy what you can afford. You can't refinance an overvalued house purchase.

It's insane how often I hear people saying that they're "waiting for rates to go down" to buy a house.

If a few points of interest are preventing you from buying a particular piece of real estate, you will be priced out the moment rates drop.

An entire industry unanimously crammed AI non-features into every single device and service we used and repeatedly doubled-down despite lackluster response and adoption.

But it's YOU who is hurting the economy for not being excited about it. 🙄

One of the craziest Black Friday price cuts so far.

This is one of those moments where the size of my platform could connect some very useful dots.

Jon immensely cares about information security and has independently published more CVEs in 2025 than most researchers do in their entire career.

He should receive a fucking award, not this.

3. Less optimistically, but still a happy ending:
An ethical company that needs a top security researcher to make their services robust hires Jon and puts his vast abilities to good use.

If you own/work for/know a company that fits this description, do us a solid and reach out. gainsec.com

2. A city, state, or larger government organization step up and have him setup the framework for an application and inspection program for AI, IoT, and surveillance device vendors as mentioned in my video.

This costs the government nothing and everyone benefits.
Alternatively this could be an NPO

1. Flock Safety brings Jon onboard to lead their infosec. Last I checked, they didn't have a CISO.

I would dislike this for selfish reasons, but it would be the clearest path to fixing the 50+ vulnerabilities.

Jon's been agnostic about the activism and solely concentrated on technical research.

I have a whole lot of guilt and anger about this. This is someone who went above and beyond to do things ethically and above-board.

Rather than having a rant, I'll sever myself from my personal beliefs about surveillance.

I think there could be a constructive outcome to this:

Jon Gaines (Gainsec), the offensive security researcher who was featured in my recent video, lost employment today.

Jon discovered the vast majority of the vulnerabilities with Flock Safety (among many other things) on his own time, which I believe will ultimately result in Americans being safer. 🧵

Cheers!
I chatted with some of them a few weeks back as well.

Oakland has decided to scrap their $2 million dollar Flock Safety expansion due to privacy and security concerns. 🥂💪🏻

It shields the earth from many types of electromagnetic radiation that causes decoherance in quantum computers.

Yeah, and moreso the ozone is quite literally a photonic filter. The point of cooling is to reduce atomic noise, but doing it outside of our ozone would have diminished returns.
November 13, 2025 at 8:47 AM
But my point is that the atomic noise from UV-B and UV-C would easily cancel out any benefit from whatever moon refrigerator he thinks exists.
November 13, 2025 at 8:45 AM
Yeah, but without understanding *why* many qcs need cooling.

Imagine that you're trying to record the sound of an ant walking in Walmart. All the commotion makes it impossible to make out the little footsteps.

So you can make it so cold everyone dies, or setup more mics for noise cancellation.
November 13, 2025 at 8:43 AM
Eh. It depends if you have error correcting qubits or if it's photonic. And even then, the only real limitation our current magnetic or gas cooling technology has is convenience or portability, neither of which the moon solves.

Elon heard that "quantum computers need cold" and got to tweeting.
